Learn how to handle and manipulate a Handgun safely and more efficiently.

Prerequisites:
Must be legally able to possess a firearm.
Must be an American Citizen.
Must have minimal experience shooting a handgun.
For shooters that have never shot before please see “Introduction to Handguns”

Equipment Required:

  • Practical handgun desired for personal use

  • Minimum 500 Rounds of ammo

  • Rigid holster that safely retains handgun while moving and maintains shape when empty

  • Stiff belt capable of supporting handgun weight

  • Spare mags  (3 Magazines recommended)

  • Eye and Ear Protection designed for shooting

Equipment Recommended:

  • Food and water for a full day outside

  • Sunscreen, insect repellent

  • Ball cap or hat, sturdy footwear

Topics Covered:

  • Firearms safety and range etiquette

  • Basic handgun operation

  • Interacting with handguns

  • Drawing from the holster

  • Accuracy on demand

  • Recoil Management

  • Training methodology

  • Developing speed

  • Reloading techniques

Additional topics may include:

  • One-handed shooting

  • Incorporating movement into your practice

  • Dry Fire Drills

  • Fixing Stoppages

Course topics are flexible and pace is variable to best accommodate a spectrum of skill levels.
